Fees & Policies

Fees

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation. If you decide to book a session with me, my fee is $180 for an initial intake appointment and $160 for each 50-minute session following.

If this is not a fit for you, financially or otherwise, please reach out to me to discuss sliding scale options or referrals to other practitioners.

Insurance

I am in-network with BlueCross and BlueShield Insurance. I am not in-network with any other insurance providers at this time.

If my services are out-of-network for your insurance plan, I will not be able to bill your insurance company directly. If requested, I will provide a superbill each month. I accept HSA payments. You may choose to submit this to your insurance provider for any out-of-network benefits you have on your plan, which may reimburse you. You can also check out Mentaya β€” a service that makes reimbursement easy.

I recommend that you contact your insurance provider before beginning therapy to find out what your out-of-network benefits are and which services may qualify for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy

When we schedule appointments, I set aside time specifically for you. Because of this, I require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation of an appointment. If for any reason a session is canceled less than 24 hours prior, the full fee will be charged. Please note that health insurance plans do not reimburse for missed sessions.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are mandated to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate. I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate prior to our first session.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
